Room cleanliness impressed me on arrival. The ensuite shower room felt personal and well-maintained despite being a bit snug.

The shower door had some signs of damp, though a minor detail it still caught my eye. Noise from neighboring rooms occasionally interrupted the quiet moments.

the place was quaint, but absolutely tiny—definitley not what you'd expect for an upscale stay. also, I noticed the shower door had some damp—hardly the pristine standard one would imagine. I almost felt like leaving a good review, but where was my complimentary gift? honestly, I could have been given more than just basic hospitality.

brae lea house is a fantastic place to recharge and explore the stunning beauty of the outer hebrides. my room was comfortable and offered a lovely view of lochboisdale. rupert's breakfast was excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients and served with a smile.

brae lea house was amazin for our 3 nights stay! rupert, our host, was super friendly and knew a lot about the area. the breakfast was delicious with loads of options, and the room was really comfy with a nice en suite. it was also a great base to explore south uist and beyond. loved the cozy vibe and the book selection!

the bathroom was a bit tiny and needs some sprucing up. also, soundproofing could be better since we heard some noise from other rooms.

Rupert was super chill and had tons of local tips. My double room was cozy and a perfect escape from the wild weather outside. Had a lovely picnic area to relax and soak up some nature vibes. Only bummer was that the checkout time felt a bit early. Would’ve loved to linger longer!
